Jayna Harthan, PsyD

Jayna Harthan, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist who provides neuropsychological testing to adolescents, adults, and older adults.

Dr. Harthan practices at both our McHenry, Illinois, and Schaumburg, Illinois, offices.

With extensive training and experience in neuropsychological testing and assessment, Dr. Harthan employs an evidence-based approach.

Dr. Harthan recognizes that specific topics can be challenging for some people to discuss. Therefore, she emphasizes the importance of a trusting relationship to foster growth in a supportive, calm environment. She helps:

Credentials

Dr. Harthan received her doctoral degree from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois.

During her postdoctoral fellowship at Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center in North Chicago, Illinois, she received specialized training in posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other trauma-related disorders.

Dr. Harthan has worked in a variety of settings, including veterans’ medical centers, community mental health centers, long-term care facilities, and private practice.

More About Dr. Harthan

Dr. Harthan first became interested in neuropsychological testing and assessment during an externship at a long-term care facility, where many residents were diagnosed with dementia and/or psychological conditions.

In her free time, Dr. Harthan likes to travel and enjoys time with her family.
