Nicole Garcia, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist. Dr. Garcia specializes in conducting neuropsychological evaluations for adolescents, adults, and older adults.

She practices at our McHenry, Illinois, office.

Dr. Garcia focuses on providing care to enhance individuals’ quality of life.

Her comprehensive, empirically based evaluations aim to clarify each person’s concerns while tailoring recommendations and interventions to each individual and their family.

To that end, Dr. Garcia integrates a variety of approaches while maintaining each person’s dignity and promoting autonomy.

Credentials

Dr. Garcia earned her doctorate in clinical psychology, with an emphasis in neuropsychology, from Adler University. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at NeuroClinic and Assessments under the direct supervision of Dr. Joshua LaVigne.

Dr. Garcia serves the community by providing psychoeducational presentations throughout McHenry and Lake counties in Illinois.

Dr. Garcia is a member of the National Academy of Neuropsychology and the Society for Clinical Neuropsychology (APA Division 40), and the Adult Development and Aging (APA Division 20). She is affiliated with Northwestern Medicine hospitals in McHenry, Woodstock, and Huntley, Illinois.

Dr. Garcia provides psychoeducational presentations throughout McHenry and Lake Counties in Illinois.

She also enjoys training the next generation of clinical psychologists.
